Meet Our Team

Streetsblog San Diego reporting and commentary from a wide range of voices working to make San Diego a better place to live and get around, including leaders and advocates from San Diego 350, Bike SD, Ride SD, Build SD and many others. Our goal is to create a place where people working on transportation, climate, housing and urbanism can share ideas while also providing independent journalism about the decisions shaping the region. In addition, a core team of Streetsblog California Staff and Board Members and other volunteers are working everyday to keep Streetsblog strong.

Anar Salayev

Anar is the executive director of BikeSD and a member of the Streetsblog San Diego Steering Committee. He believes some of the most exciting work on transportation, housing, and urbanism is happening right here in San Diego, and that it deserves a national audience. He wants Streetsblog San Diego to be the place that tells those stories.
